EL PESCADOR
3-1/8" Perf Gun & Motor Recovery Tool
Our EL PESCADOR is designed to retreive lost 3-1/8" perf guns and drilling motors. EL PESCADOR threads directly onto standard washpipe and features a heavy duty diamond impregnated shoe with an inside diameter of 3.125". A steel spring-type retainer is seated inside the shoe which holds the fish firmly in place inside the washpipe.
In operation, as the washpipe string is lowered over the broken perf gun or motor the fish travels into the washpipe until it is firmly in the grip of the steel spring-type retainer. Once the washpipe string is raised the steel spring-type retainer is activated and locked into place. At that point the fish is secure. Once the steel spring-type retainer is locked in place the fish can only be removed at the surface.
